About Us

Welcome to the Professional Skills Center (PSC) at the University of Doha for Science and Technology. As an industry-driven TVET education post-secondary institution, we strive to lead the way in skilling, reskilling, and upskilling the technical workforce both locally and internationally.

We aim to contribute to the development of human capital in the State of Qatar, as well as, to regulate technical professions that require a minimum level of knowledge skills, and competencies with the goal of supporting the rapid economic development of the country.

Professional Skills Centre (PSC) hosts many technical programs required by local industries, it is an accredited training and certification center by the US National Centre for Construction Education and Research (NCCER). NCCER has more than 30 years of experience in training and assessment of technicians and tradesmen for hundreds of technical occupations in 40 craft areas that have been used in all 50 American states and aboard using high-level standards of industry practices. NCCER provides certifications to practice those regulated professions in the US and outside including the State of Qatar.

PSC is also a certified Pearson VUE testing center, an International Convention on Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping for Seafarers (STCW) training center, as well as many other continuous professional educational courses.
