The Professional Skills Center (PSC) is a TVET-focused post-secondary institution dedicated to advancing industry-relevant education by skilling, reskilling, and upskilling the technical workforce locally and internationally. PSC plays a pivotal role in developing human capital in Qatar, setting standards for technical professions that require essential knowledge, skills, and competencies to support the nation’s rapid economic growth.
PSC is an accredited training and certification center by the US National Centre for Construction Education and Research (NCCER), with over 30 years of experience in training and assessment of technicians and tradesmen for various technical occupations using high-level standards of industry practices. NCCER provides licenses to practice those regulated professions in the US and internationally, including the State of Qatar.
PSC is the second accredited NCCER center outside the US. Through this partnership, NPSC provides comprehensive training programs in electricity, HVAC, plumbing, and welding, spanning four distinct levels of expertise and unlocking a wide range of career opportunities; from entry-level to advanced professionals.
